Free Pixel Art Editor — Draw & Animate Sprites Online
Draw pixel-art game sprites from scratch in your browser: pencil, eraser, flood fill, eyedropper, line, rectangle, and ellipse tools with keyboard shortcuts, horizontal and vertical symmetry, and a zoomable pixel grid from 8×8 up to 128×128. The DawnBringer DB32 palette is loaded by default, and you can import a palette from any image.
Animation is built in: add, duplicate, delete, and reorder frames, ghost the previous frame with onion skin, and preview at 1–30 FPS. Your drawing auto-saves in the browser. When you're done, send the frames into the SpritePilot session to pack them as a sprite sheet with engine metadata, or download them directly as an animated GIF, a PNG strip, or a single frame.
Everything runs locally on your device — artwork is never uploaded. New to pixel art? Start with the step-by-step tutorial: How to Draw Your Own Pixel Art Sprite.
