Remove the Background from a Sprite Sheet

Older sprite sheets often use a solid magenta, green, or white background instead of real transparency — and modern tools need the real thing. Load the image, click the background color (or sample a corner with one click), and tune the tolerance slider from 0–120 while a live checkerboard preview shows exactly what became transparent, with a running percentage of removed pixels.

Download the cleaned PNG, or hand it straight to Sprite Detection to split it into sprites. Color keying runs entirely in your browser. Guide: How to Remove the Background from a Sprite Sheet.
